Hello to all.

Right to it....

June 29th  Bob Banks, as part of his www.birthdaychallenge.com , climbed 30 pitches*, did 300 pull-ups, 30 boulder problems, and ran/hiked 30 km- he did the Half Dome cable route.  (*Royal Arches, Bishop's Terrace, Munginella, Commitment, Nutcracker, and two pitches on After Seven - all in under 5 hours)  I'm sure Bob consumed at least 30 ozs of Budwiser. and I might be missing something.  I know he got hoodwinked on the Deli closing early, so he didn't make his 3 Old English 800s challenge.  We had hoped to have Bob care for my daughter solo for 30 minutes put she didn't last 30 seconds.- oh well.

I joined Bob on the climbing portion, but added on 7 pitches, and only did 37 pullups, and 3.7 miles of hiking/running.  Daddy duties called so the rest of the day I was managing to whip up things indoors:  37 ab rollers- from the knees, 37 situps, 37 push-ups, 37 ozs of ice-cream, 37 ounces of beer and wine, 37 kisses on my daughter Marianna, and 37 Yoga poses held for 37 seconds each. I recommend this last for all Birthday challenges to finish off a day as a way to feel better "the day after".  ( my birthday was actually June 18th, but I hadn't been able to fit my challenge in then)

Steve Edwards filmed some of the days activities, check the www.birthdaychallenge.com site for video bytes.

all the best on your challenges...
